Microblading

Touchup 6-12 weeks $150

Microblading is a method of permanent makeup that involves using a disposable tool to draw individual hair strokes, creating the illusion of fuller, perfectly shaped eyebrows.

The more evenly balanced your natural brow is, the more natural microblading looks.

For Normal to Dry Skin Types Only

Powder Brows

Touchup 6-12 weeks: $150

Powder Brows are created with a micropigmentation machine and it is recommended for customers that want a very soft “filled-in” makeup look. This procedure is also recommended for customers that are not good candidates for microblading due to either previous permanent makeup, large pores or oily skin. This technique tends to last longer and is overall better for the integrity of the skin.

Ideal For Oily, Textured, and Sensitive Skintypes

Blade + Shade

Touchup 6-12 weeks $150

This style combines microblading (hair strokes) with machine (powder) shading. The amount of hair strokes vs. powder is based on your unique skin type and desired look. This style is also referred to as a Combo Brow, when the mircobladed hair strokes are placed only in the front of the brow and the rest is filled in with shading. Ideal for those with sparse or thin brows, wishing to add more density and depth.

Great for most skin types

Cosmetic tattoos are designed in buildable layers. All looks require at least 2 sessions to create, the initial session and a 6-12 week touchup.

On average, results can last anywhere between 1-3+ years.

A Color Refresh is recommended once every 1-3 years to maintain your look.

Am I Eligible for Microblading?

Cosmetic tattoos are not a good fit for everyone

If you have any of the following you are NOT eligible for the procedure:

  • Under 18 years of age (even with parents consent)
  • Pregnant/nursing
  • History of Keloids or Hypertrophic scarring
  • Diabetic (require doctor’s clearance due to poor healing)
  • Chemotherapy or Radiation in the last 6 months (consult with your doctor)
  • Take blood thinner medication or supplements
  • Those with epilepsy, hemophilia, viral infections and or/disease
  • Skin irritations/conditions on or near the eyebrows. This includes rashes, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, shingles, open cuts, wounds, acne, sunburn, etc.)
  • Taking skin medications like Accutane in the last 6 months.
  • Those who have auto-immune disease, thyroid disorders, other healing disorders, pacemaker, mitral valve disorder, other major heart conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure. Any medical condition that affects your skin, prevents blood from clotting OR affects how your body HEALS will lead to unpredictable healed results (ex. blurry hair-strokes, migration of color, spectacle to infection, extreme fading)
  • Poor General Health will lead to a poor healed result

Some Other Factors That Affect The Outcome:

Color retention and overall results are different for each individual. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, immune system, pre+post care, age, lifestyle, smoking and skin tone determine how you heal.

OILY SKIN – tends to ‘push out’ the pigment quicker, and may need more frequent touch ups. Microbladed hair strokes tend to heal blurry. While some oily skin won’t hold microbladed strokes at all. This is why we recommend shading the brows with a beautiful Powder Brow for best results.

DARKER SKIN – will have less contrast and microbladed strokes may heal more powdery or solid looking. The darker the skin tone, the less detail you will see.

MATURE SKIN (60+) – is very fine, delicate and thin. With microbladed hairstrokes clients may experience some loss of detail, discoloration or blurring with microblading. Which is why we recommend Powder Brows.

FOLLOWING THE PROPER PRE+POST CARE IS CRUCIAL FOR OPTIMAL RESULTS.

Previous Work On Eyebrows

(Microblading, Tattoo, Any Form of Permanent Makeup on the Brows)

There are many factors that need to be considered before applying a brow tattoo over previous work as not all work can be covered up.

To ensure I can achieve your desired look I require pre-approval before booking.

Please email 3 clear photos of your full face and eyebrows with no makeup on them, unfiltered, and in natural lighting for consideration.

  1. Front facing profile

  2. Right side 3/4 turn

  3. Left side 3/4 turn

Include what you are hoping to achieve so I can determine if I would be a good fit for you as an artist.

If accepted it would be considered a ReWork-Correction service. Touchup and Refresh rates are only available when Tamsen is refreshing her own work.

Faq's

No you do not need to book a consultation. There is a built-in consultation as part of your initial service.  I am ALWAYS available via email or text if you just have a few questions prior to booking.

I do offer in-person consultations. Where we can go over all of your questions and discuss what style would be ideal for skin type. You can meet me and see my space to determine if you would feel comfortable with me as your artist.

Topical 5% Lidocaine with epinephrin is used to make you comfortable, however pain tolerance varies from client to client. Having the procedure during your menstrual cycle may increase your sensitivity. Most clients state it wasn’t nearly as bad as they thought it would be and tend to fall asleep.

Yes Please view all Pre + Post care guidelines and Healing Expectations here

All looks are built in soft buildable layers. Touch ups are required 6-12 weeks after your initial treatment because the healing process varies form person to person. Based on your skin type, immune system, genetics, and how well the pre/after care instructions were followed, We won’t be able to tell how your cosmetic tattoo will truly look until it is at least 6 weeks healed. Seeing a healed first session allows us to adjust treatment to optimize lasting results.

Most looks take at least 2 sessions to create. Touchups must be completed within 6-12 weeks from the last session and are charged accordingly.

The Initial appointment is 3.5 hours

Touchup Appointments are 2.5 hours

Cosmetic tattooing is designed to fade over time and typically requires maintenance between 1 to 3 years. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, age, metabolism, medications, sun exposure, and how well pre-care + aftercare instructions are followed can affect the longevity of the cosmetic tattoo. Touch ups are normal and expected for permanent cosmetics.

I recommend new clients book their first session at least 3-4 months before vacations or special events. This allows time for the initial application to heal as well as the touch-up appointment 6-8 weeks after.
